How does the AI technology work?
Our AI technology can recognize specific events such as vehicles entering or leaving the site, people moving in restricted areas, or unusual sounds (e.g., alarms, glass breaking). Based on your preferences, our system can trigger real-time notifications, allowing you to respond immediately while recording every detection for potential future use.
Can I access my site remotely?
Yes! Hafen’s cloud-based system allows you to access live and archived video feeds from any device, including your smartphone, tablet, or computer. You’ll have full control of the camera views, including Pan, Tilt, Zoom (PTZ) functionality, from wherever you are.
Does Hafen provide job site internet?
Yes! Hafen includes broadband internet as part of our site management solutions. This wireless, high-speed internet service helps ensure that your team stays connected, eliminating the need for expensive or hard-to-access broadband options.
How long is video footage stored?
We store your video data securely in the cloud for as long as you need. You can retrieve and download footage at any time, and storage durations can be customized to meet your project or compliance needs.
What happens if there’s no power at my site?
Hafen’s systems are solar-powered with advanced lithium-ion battery backups. This ensures continuous operation even during power outages or in remote locations where grid access is limited. Our systems can operate independently for extended periods, providing uninterrupted service.
Can Hafen solutions be scaled for larger projects?
Absolutely. Our HafenCoreTM unit acts as the hub for multiple HafenPointsTM, allowing you to scale up your coverage to suit larger or more complex job sites. There’s no limit to the number of cameras or points you can connect.
How easy can I manage multiple sites or projects?
Our mobile and web applications allow you to combine project sites into a single view but still manage them separately. You have limited screen space and we know how clicking all over a user interface can be annoying - we get it. What’s involved in the installation process?
After a Master Services Agreement (MSA) is executed, our team will conduct an in depth consultation to assess your site’s needs. We’ll then handle the shipment and installation of HafenCore and HafenPoints, configure your system, and train your team on how to use it. Ongoing support is included in your Hafen Services.
How customizable are the alerts and notifications?
You have complete control over how and when you are notified. Customize alerts based on the time of day, specific event triggers (e.g., motion detection, sound, temperature), and who receives the notifications. You can also adjust alert settings anytime via our cloud-based platform.
Is there a limit to how many people can access the system?
No, you can grant access to as many users as you need. Each user can have customized permissions depending on their role, and all users can access the system simultaneously without issues.

Does Hafen use any foreign-made or imported technology?
Hafen does not use any technology made or sourced from foreign countries. We are constantly assessing the strength of technology from all around the world - simply put, we have not found any worthy of incorporation into our solution. The best technology can be both practical and affordable without compromising.
